I'm selling a 6 pack setup for a 340. The part# shows it's a 1970 setup. I was told there is a difference between the 440 and 340 air cleaner. I basically need help in determining if what I have is correct to the rest of the setup.

Only 340six packs were 1970 AAR and Challenger T/A seals to fiberglass hpod 2 fresh air removable metal vents in rear. Clearly not the same as a 440 six.
A quick look at a picture of yours would help.

Not 340. Mine is picked up but Shakerhood.com formally Ben Snowbar ( who I knew ) site shows a picture of the bases. Here's a shot the fresh air vents that are removable block off plates.

You can alsp see clearly the lip that seal the TA / AAR goes on. The seal goes on the base not the hood

So there was never a 340 6 pack application without a shaker scoop, or air grabber? What does the base I have belong to?

You are not understanding. No 340six other than 1970 AAR Cuda and T/A Challenger. And had fiberglass hoods. The T/A hood AAR hood.
The lids also had a Wide Lip.

What you have is a 70 440-6 non-fresh air air cleaner...

It will fit a 340 but it originally came from a 440..

1970-1971 440+6 without a fresh air hood.
