Im new to this forum and my slant just died and i want to put a 318 in it instead but i was wondering if anyone had a very detailed explanation of how a swap like this would go?

well you would need a tranny as well and either a new k member or the conversion mounts from
http://engine-swaps.com/ also a bigger radiator is in order and a new set of t bars. the rear end if it's a 7 1/4 should be changed too. hope this helps
