I am selling the manual steering gear box out of my Dart. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. It has served me faithfully for the last seven years. The only reason that I'm selling it is I have a line on a rebuilt box with some upgraded internals.
A couple of years ago, I took the slack out of the worm gear and pumped it full of grease. There is no binding or popping, and everything works as it should.
It has the aluminum housing and stock 26:1 ratio worm gear.
The previous owner painted it black so I cleaned it up the best I could and shot it with silver aluminum wheel paint. It's not perfect, but it's the best I could do without bead blasting it. If you don't like it, you can blast it and then hit it with some clear.
To sweeten the deal a little bit, I'll throw in a BRAND NEW coupler rebuild kit. I bought it a couple of years back but never used it. It's still sealed in it's original bag and comes with the instructions. I paid $35 for it.
