63 convertible boot

i am installing a new boot cover on my 63 dart convertible and have to install the snaps to hold the cover to the body..don't seem to be able to figure out how the snaps go together on the new cover.There are no threads to screw them together..can't quite figure it out..help!!!Thanks

The snaps included with the boot usually have a hammer and anvil set included in the bag to fasten the snaps together!!

Thanks this one didn;t..worked on it today..not sure i like the job i did so far but will now have to live with it....
