Does anyone have a source for '63 Dodge Keys??? Some later keys will work for the doors and Ignition, but the trunk key seems to be very exclusive. I have 2 originals, but appear to be made out of aluminum and are pretty worn.
When I was building my Dart, I came across some blanks, but the guy wanted $50 each for them. :0
Worst come to worst, I suppose I could trade out door and trunk locks...

Thank you men !

I bought reconditioned door locks, ignition lock (with new keys, keyed alike) and reconditioned boot lid lock off eBay. I can't remember the seller, but from America, and they are great!

Thank you, I'll look into it.

I just did an eBay search, this is the company I used... Thomas Sestak Collector Parts, either Google that or click on THIS LINK

I realise the link takes you to the listing for a boot lock, but you can find them by clicking "SEE SELLERS OTHER ITEMS" from there.

They also do a matched set (keyed alike) door and ignition sets, I think they are reconditioned, like the ones for my 1964 Dart, which as you know have those polished stainless steel dished caps on them.

I am very happy with the quality, they came with gaskets and clips ready to go straight in, and the price seemed fair considering a so-called 'Locksmith' destroyed all my original ones.

Good Luck, hope this helps...

The 63 and 64 and maybe 65 door locks are expensive. you can make the later models work with some filing on the door if you have to. The early A locks stick out further and are more prone to damage than the later A flush ones. Good luck.
As far as the trunk key call a few lock smiths and check your older dealers you never know what you will find.

Correct, they ARE different, and they ARE expensive. I think they're only expensive because they are hard to come by, not because repairs are more difficult!

How many of them do you need?
Want alum or nickle/brass? I have both.
The trunk key for 63-65 is unique. The later key will not work.
But if you want to post a pic and I can verify for you.
I sell most keys @ $5.00 a pair + $3.50 for the P/O. If you send me your old key, I'll send back cut sets.
I stand behind my keys.

Very hard to find!
I hit up every old mom and pop hardware store, locksmith I come by. When I do, I usually buy them out. I take all their old blanks and they're happy to get rid of them.
That's why I have a ton of old G/M 39 to 65 keys too if any one is interested.

I bought up 100s of NOS Mopar keys, if you can post photos of the type you have I can look.

Sounds like I hit the jackpot when I bought mine! 2 x door locks, 1 x ignition barrel (all keyed alike) plus boot lid lock and gaskets, I think the whole lot was under AUS$200 including postage. Not sure what you guys think, but to me that wasn't a bad price...

Thank you so much, for all of the feedback !
When I'm done traveling the southwest, I'll going on it
