63 Dart taillights, Left and right the same?

Is there a difference between left and right or will they interchange? Also are wagon taillights different than passenger car? Thanks!

Pretty sure these interchange. They both have the same part number of 2243078. Not sure about the wagon taillights.

Wagon taillights and component parts (lenses, bases) are different than all other body styles. The wagon lamps and parts are left/right specific; all other body styles are left = right for the lamps and all components. That situation is all the same for '64, and '64 parts are styled a little differently but fit/work on '63s.

My resource shows them being the same RH and LH as an assembly, but, 2421182 (170) and 2421184 (270 and GT) as being the part numbers for the assemblies. The difference between the 170 light and the 270/GT light is the plastic silver colored bezel on the lens. There are just lens and gasket packages too with different part numbers.

Thanks for the info! I've seen ones with the silver ring around the edge and wondered why.
