63 valiant service manual...

hey gusy im lookign at a service manual on ebay for under 20 shipped says its for Chrysler Valiant R & S 1962-1963 Workshop Service Repair. I have a 1963 Valiant 4 door push button auto slant six. Will this manual work for me?

if its a real factory service manual a in good shape the price is good. the years are close enough it will work. any differences will be easy to see. i say buy it.

im not sure about that one, but the one i got looks like this. its the factory service manual for american 1963 valiants. i noticed the book on ebay says its coming from austrailia, maybe their 63's were different.

that will work for mechanical.63 is a change over year & the sheet metal is way different as is the wiring harness-- you would be much happier with a 63 manual. Lawrence

Yeah, as vdart points out, the Aussie cars were mechanically similar but everything else is different.
I have a USA built '63 Downunder).
Hey, maybe you could change yours to RHD??? LOL

The one in the link is a CD. I prefer a hard-copy. The CD will never have collector's value and you don't know about the quality. I doubt Chrysler produced it. Maybe the same guy who makes cheap DVD's with a shaky hand-held video cam in Asian theaters.
