64 273 2 barrel carb, rebuild or replace

I have my 64 Barracuda up and running but not running very well the two barrel needs rebuilt or replaced anybody have any information for a rebuild kit or a replacement carb it is a Carter, I am having no luck finding a rebuild kit. At this time I would just like to rebuild or replace it I'm not looking to do a 4-barrel carb and manifold swap quite yet.

FYI: I just watched a video yesterday where the carb rebuilder said that soaking the carb in carb cleaner and compressed air may not clean out the idle passages, thus many "failed" rebuilds. He suggested busting off one wire from a wire brush to use to "ramrod" clean out those tiny passages by hand.

Yes,that is trick I learned a long time ago,I use a piece of stainless wire.

I have seen them pretty cheap new on ebay. I know they are no name copies made in China but I have bought several Rochester ones for our race cars and they work great.

Rebuild kits should be easy to find, a 64 Barracuda w/273 would have a Carter 3767 or 3768 carb
Most kits are pretty universal, not sure there are that many different kits.

I still have the factory BBD on my 67 Barracuda, was rebuilt just last year, got the kit from Rock Auto
