do these fenders have braces in them to support the fender? just wondering....

It's been a while since I owned one, but best I remember there is only a reinforcing rib down the door edge, like most all Mopar fenders. Nothing diagonal in the middle of the wheel opening like E-body fenders. Barracuda fenders are different than Valiant fenders in 64-65.

I thought 1965 Barracuda and Valiants are the same.... different than 1964s
What is different?

The design of the fender pretty well supports itself. There are fender splash shields in front of and behind each wheel but those are not supports. The 64 and 65 Barracuda and 65 Valiant fenders are the same. 64 Valiant is different. The horizontal V shape is much wider in 64.

So there is a rear support on the aft side for bracing.

Here is the scoop on fenders.

They are all the same bolt pattern and are interchangeable. However as mentioned the Forward Look Swoosh is wider on a 64.
