64/65 Barracuda Wiring Help!

hey guys,
I need some help with the wiring on my Barracuda. I have a 65 Barracuda...but I used a 64 dash and its harnesses...However I used a 65 firewall junction and attached all the dash harnesses into it. I also used a 64 v/8 wiring harness to hook up my 360....
Now having issues setting up the wires on the engine bay side of the fuse block such as the fusable link etc... also issues with hooking up the alternator.... I do have wiring diagrams but still not getting it....
any photos or comments on how to hook these things up would really be appreciated...also, if anyone is in the Jersey Shore area, near Monmouth County and have electrical skills, I would appreciate some correspondence, and maybe even a tutorial in person!

Again, it would be easier if YOU post photos. What do you have for shop manuals / diagrams?

I would consult the book and diagrams, and hook up "what you can." Much of this stuff, when laid out in the engine bay, only fits one way, unless you are changing from a /6 to a V8. When you get down to "those connections" you cannot figure, post photos AND DESCRIBE THE CONNECTION

"It's a big red wire perhaps no 14, with a XXXX connector" etc.

We have no idea what you SEE

RUSTY DID YOU FIND THAT CRYSTAL BALL YET???

anyone have a picture of the wiring set up on your alternator...? Cant seem to figure out what goes where.....I think this is a more modern 60a alternator....thanks

If YOU could provide a photo would be much easier.

You have a diagram?

Your harness should have a big thick black wire with an eyelet end..........goes to the alternator output stud.


There should be another wire, usually green, with a push on connector goes onto the alternator field..........that's it..........two wires

Now knowing what you HAVE for an alternator..............

If you have a 70/ 80's Mopar, it will have one more field connection (push on connector) Just ground that

But not knowing..............what..........you........have..........because........I..........don't........have........RUSTY WHERE IS THAT CRYSTAL BALL!!!????
