Looking ahead to next year's school project car. Maybe some southern or west coasters can help in the search.

Looking for rust free, accident free, original pain't 64-65 valiant. Prefer low trim level post car. Slant 6 fine. Manual shift. Any color. Looking to buy in spring, I will need to ship. Transport is iffy over the rockiesinwinter. What do u have? Any other early As considered. Thanks. Budget under 2k. ALSO: I really don't want to have do another headliner. It cost me way too much in time and worries and CASH to fix such a cosmetic issue. I only want to spend $$$$$$ on mechanicals if possible.

Be kind in pricing if you can. This is for a school, and will be fully mechanically reconstructed over a 1 - 2 yr. period then be resold - most likely listed here. I'm the teacher and pay 100% out of pocket for everything for these projects. I spend lots my own time finding parts and pieces. At the end....I usually wind up losing $1-2K on each car. Yes....a fully mechanically restored car is usually NOT worth the parts put into them. When I say everything is done......everything is done. Check out the early A link on the "just another 65 barracuda project"....and you'll see what I mean.

Here is a few sample picts of a finished build. Whoever sells me the "project" has rights of first refusal when I sell it IF below market value when sold to me. Typically, the selling price is materials and parts. ZERO labor....... its is a school project and our payment is the education.

Some past work:

Black 64 Valiant was sold to me by AbodyJoe - - that bum did't want it back! ;) sold it to a guy in Canada.
65 Barracuda came from Cudalover - he got his car back.
71 Coronet from a non-lister - sold to a guy in NY
75 Dart from a non lister - sold to a guy in Georgia. still drives it daily! kept it a slanty6
