Was there trim panels for the rear of the interior above the drop down panel where the holes are for the nut access for the rear window trim. There is a discussion and some say yes others say no.

No trim panel. Just color matched hole plugs for access holes.

Not true, the corners have plastic trim panels to cover the outside corner piece trim holes! Only the center 3 holes have color matched plugs!
Picture of 2 sets of corner trim pieces! Notice the 2 mounting holes, they would correspond with the 2 holes I see in your picture, which look like they still have the plastic expansion plug fasteners in them!!
