will the hardtop gasket fit on the convertible...? Heard different things...thought glass is the same...???? help!!!!
64-66 valiant convertible windshield gasket...hardtop fit???

Yes, it will fit. Howevere there will be a small gap on the upper area. There are differences between the convertible and the hard to. The windshield gasket is about 5/16" higher on the upper part of the moulding where it meets the windshield trim. You can cover the gap with a rubber gasket. If you need pictures let me know.

Hi there! This is the way I did it. This picture is taken from the drivers upper corner. I two folded a rubber mat about two inch outside each corner and then trimmed them down so when I added the upper chrome moulding the moulding held down the "bottom" of the fold if you know what I mean. This has proven to work very well for me the last four years. LAst year on our way home from Mopar at the Strip at Orsa Dragway we had thunder storms and rain for almost 400 miles and no leaks!! Good luck with your car.
