64 convertible rattle trap!! Better explained.

I complained of my 64 roof frame rattling but I guess I was kind of vague in my explanation. It's actually the hinges/joints at the back that are worn I guess so it sounds like a bunch of loose nets and bolts lol. It's not rattling at the front at all soooo... Any more ideas???

Is your top tight when up?
There are other adjustments that might help tighten things up.

If there are rivets you might be able to back it up with a 5 lb sledge and strike the head with a hammer to compress the river some more

Yes it is tight. I need to get in there and take a close look at things. I like the 5lb sledge idea. Then if I can't fix it right, I can fix it wrong :rofl:
