I need a sage. I purchased a used non-AC heater box assembly that appears to fit my 64 Dart perfectly, but I can’t find accurate info on how to wire it. The two prong interior resistor fits my wiring, but where/how do I wire the blower motor wires protruding into the engine bay?

Help appreciated! I want to do this the right way. I did a search, so sorry if I overlooked a how-to for this year.

Have you got a picture? I have a 64 Valiant heater only car and it has no wires in the engine bay for the blower. They're all under the dash.

Yes, thank you. Green positive and black negative - I just don’t know where the positive goes for the right power at the right time. Thanks!

I just looked at the 65 FSM, and while it is not "crystal" clear, it does not look as if the wiring goes through the bulkhead connector.

The 64 2 page aftermarket diagram at MyMopar seems to be incomplete. Shows the switch.....

"I don't know."

63 and 64 dash wiring are the same the only change was that they moved the controls to in the dash instead of below the dash, I have attached a 63 Valiant wiring schematic.

I must be stupid. Found the switch, and resistor connector, where is the motor? (on the diagram?)

Factory AC for A bodies in 63-64 was the same AirTemp AC as was used for dealer AC Kit just installed at the factory. In 65 that all changed.

It doesn't show the motor. I have the 64 Valiant factory service manual in my LAP and the only thing that makes note of the motor is a wire leading off the page with a squiggly line and it simply says "To blower Motor". LOL

You guys are great. Sounds like I’m still at square one but I appreciate all the help and experience. I’m not positive that the blower motor is matching, but I figure it needs power from somewhere!
