64 dash into a 65 dart?

Just curious. I like the idea of a no-pad dash. I have a complete 64 Valiant dash on hand. How close is the electical, to just install the 64 dash into the 65 dart?

You'll have to move wires around on the round, multipin connector but other than that, I don't know of any other problems. If your '64 is an automatic, you'll have the push button panel to contend with but a manual trans finish panel can be found.

there is also a diffrence on the bulkhead connector that goes thru the firewall, just fill the holes for the dash pad and repaint.........jmo......Wagg's

I think he meant to keep his existing wiring harness....at least that was the impression I got.

I just like the look of the 64 dash more than the 65. Looks like I'll keep the 65 dash installed, and just install another dash pad.

On the firewall end, yes, but on the instrument cluster end, not much.
