Moroso #20710 8-quart oil pan....anyone have one installed on a 64-66 a-body...????? I'm wondering if the K-Member will need to be notched out for fitment...?????

We had to put mine on after the engine was lowered over the K member. Slip it up in there and bolt it up, then drop the engine on down to the mounts....this was in the mock-up stage as the engine was coming in and out. I have seen where people have notched the K member and used an engine leveler on the hoist to wedge it in.

I can definitely see it being a tight squeeze.....I may drop the entire suspension, K-Frame, sand blast it, notch it and then paint it....be a great opportunity to detail it out and never have to mess with it again. I do have a leveler.

Mines a Mildoon pan(8qrt)and had to open up and box in my K FWIW.

Pretty much what I figured....not a big deal and while I'm cutting I'll open up the radiator support also....forgot about that one...lol
