I'm looking for just the 4bbl plate with bellcrank for a 1965 and 1966 Commando/Charger 273. It's the part bolted to the back of the driver's side cylinder head. I have all the other linkage parts, but, somehow that plate got away. If you only have it with all the other linkage parts, I may be interested too, depending on cost. Price shipped to San Diego 92120 please. Thanks.

I believe this is what you’re looking for. Leanna powder coated 2 of them for me quite awhile ago; I hope to use one with my 273/A500 combo to keep it looking stock so this one is extra to my needs. PM me if interested.

Can you post a picture>

What is the difference from 2bbl to 4 bbl ? I just looked in a genuine MOPAR parts book for 1965 and it only shows a listing for 8 cyl with no mention of carb type pn 2465 990 same as Dartman's photo

The part number listed in factory 1966 parts manual says it's part number 2536297 for the 4bbl. and 2532596 for the 2bbl. The link that attaches to the rod going to the carb on the 4bbl. is bent the opposite way and is spaced a bit different than the 2bbl version. If I had one to photograph, I wouldn't need one!. I'll see if I can scrounge up a photo somewhere.....Thanks.

In 66 the transmission was changed from the 2 cable one to the modern one used up into the 70's and possibly beyond. Are you using a 65 trans or a 66 & up one ?

I'm using a '66 setup, but, on the kickdown, that shouldn't make a difference. The throttle pressure rods (kickdown linkage) should be the same whether it was a cable shift or linkage shift.

Here's a couple of photos of the correct 4bbl part. As you can see in the photo, the upper lever arm is offset out toward the valve cover, not inboard toward the distributor. Stands to reason, as the 4bbl carb is wider than the 2bbl.

I think I have what you are looking for ! Photo coming in a minute

If you compare this to the Dartman's photos you can see the difference !
