65 Barracuda Deck Lid question

Hi all - long time reader, first time poster. I have a question I'm hoping someone here can help me with.

I'm restoring my '65 Formula S and as of last week it's in the body shop and well on its way. My question is this: is there supposed to be a soft horizontal crease running end to end, roughly about an inch up from the bottom edge of the deck lid?

My guy at the body shop thinks that line is there (although again, it's pretty subtle) and I can't recall one way or the other if he's correct and it's something I managed not to notice somehow, or is he wrong? Tough to tell definitively from pics on the web and I unfortunately don't have another Barracuda nearby to compare to.
