65 Dart 273 Engine Rebuild

The thread pitch of the adjuster screws is 24 threads per inch. The pushrods I'm using are approximately 1/8" shorter. Possibly a bit less than 1/8", but lets just say 1/8" shorter, worst case. At 24 tpi, that's 3 turns on the adjuster screw.

With the stock pushrods and adjuster screws I had 0 threads showing. Could have been less than zero, but worst case, lets assume 0. So with the shorter pushrods and stock adjuster screws, I'd be 3 threads showing, worst case. If 1-2 threads is ideal, then I'm only 1 thread, or .041" more. I think it's actually less than that, but that's the worst case.

If they don't hit the baffles, I think I'm fine. Don't get me wrong. I do appreciate all the advice. That's one of the reasons I post. But in this case, I think it'll be alright.
