'65 Dart GT Floor Shifter

Sorry if this has been posted before. Tried to search but couldn't find anything. I'm replacing the cart in my '65 Dart GT and the last thing I need to remove is the center console in the hump, which looks like i need to remove the shifter to get out. I've tried everything I can think of, but just can't seem to remove the knob or the arm to get the console out. Surely there is a way to get the console out without destroying something! Thanks in advance!

If you have an automatic floor shift car, look for a set screw on the edge of the knob.

Yup, allen head set screw holds that knob on.

Well that couldn't have been easier. Sometimes the answer is right in front of you. Thanks for the help, it was so well tightened I would have sworn they welded the two plastic parts in place.
