65 dodge dart gt seats

Car sat for a long time under a car cover(dident help) and the sewing threads holding the front seats together has come apart! seats are in good condition other than that. alittle hard from being under that cover for so long. My question is can they be fixed? if they can be resewn is there anything to put on them to soften them up? thankyou for your time.

I talked to a friend of mine who does custom car upholstery. They cannot be resewn so that it would hold. The best bet is to buy new covers from someone like Ledgendary. tmm (65 Dart seats are half way down in the linked page.)

The original foams are almost certainly falling apart so order those as well.
