I'm just curious my interior trim that does along the bottom of door do I run carpet fully to frame of door or cut short just enough to for screws to clear and go into holes . The first photo is me pulling the carpet back so that it will clear the holes or second picture is not clearing the holes not clearing the holes and having the carpet over the holes and screw through the carpet
