Trying to figure out how to tighten driver side vent window, its terribly loose. Closes shut ay 5mph wind. I have pulled the door panel and can't find where i could adjust it, i really hope i don't have to pull the entire thing out

The tension adjustment is under the vent window, sorry you will have to at least unbolt the vent frame.

Pop the name plate off the door. It is just clipped on. Under that plate is 2 big holes. The tension screw is accessed through the hole.

There is no name plate on the door, valiant 200 is on fender, then a trim with ribs on door then longer thin piece

There should be a piece of trim they are talking about that is below the vent window and above the door panel. That piece is what you need to pry off. On the Barracuda it says Barracuda I am not sure on the Valiant but I believe I have seen it with 200 or something else. Hope that helps.

I think by reading this it is the trim with ribs you speak of just above the thin chrome that is at the top of the door panel.

I think the name plate is only on two door cars because my 65 four door sedan,64 wagon and my 65 wagon don't have a name plates on the inside of the door near the vent glass. My friends 65 two door hardtop signet has them and my 64 barracuda also has them.

Nope nothing there. Could be that your car is a post car and we are used to looking at hardtop doors. Looks like you will have to open it up to put more tension on it. Sorry we could not help more.
