66 Baracuda bucket seats into 72 Scamp

I have been wanting to swap out the bench seat in my 72 scamp to bucket seats and I have found a pair of 66 Cuda seats in my area and was wondering if they would fit, if so what would need to do to make them.

they'll fit - you'll undoubtedly have to make new holes and possibly add some reinforcement plates - a worth while investment for sure!

The early A track assemblies are about twice too tall for 2nd gen' a-body. 2nd gen tracks will bolt under early those earlier seat frames.
Then everything from 68 up has latches on the seat backs that accompany shoulder restraints. Earlier seat doesn't have those latches. You wouldn't want the weight of that seat back to go with you into the chest belt.

I would go with aftermarket or late model seats out of another car.
The '66 seats might have the look you want but won't be that comfortable or offer any support when going around corners.
