'66 Barracuda Dash Pad

Never even noticed before until a couple days ago, but I've been seeing other '66's with dash pads. Mine doesn't have one and didn't think about it. Did they come standard on all '66?

I’ve owned my 66 Barracuda since 89’
It had a pad and factory drilled holes.
I thought all 66’ had pads.
May be safety thing.
I’ve never seen one without.... unless owner removed it.

Do you have any pics of your dash without the pad? Wondering where the factory attaching points are. There are no open holes on mine except for the ends under the vertical pillar molding.

I have a few dash boards out of the cars for 66 Barracuda and glad to get you pics when back at the shop. Pm me directly so I do nt forget. I can get measurements also if you like.

The dash pad was on all ‘66 Barracuda, Valiant & Dart models.
In previous years it was an option.
I have seem ‘66 cars with the five holes in the dash filled in but I could see where it had been filled.
