Hi, I'm hoping to find some history to a 1966 Barracuda that I've owned now for about 40 years. From what I can gather from the VIN and Chrysler Historical, it was first sold at Universal Motors in Honolulu Hi. Very early VIN 500499 from Hamtramck, so, probably close to, if not the 1st 1966 Barracuda to hit the islands. I bought it at auction around 1980. From what I gather, it was abandon at the North Island Naval Station on Coronado "island" here in the San Diego area, so, since it had Hawaii plates, it probably was brought there by a sailor who was transferred here from HI. What I would like to find out is who bought it originally, and the subsequent owners up to the time I got it. Thanks
