66 Barracuda interior questions

My first question, is there a way to eliminate the ripples in the back glass seal, I attached a couple of photos? The seal looks fine all the way around on the outside but not the inside regardless of whether the lock strip is in or not. I may just have to live with it that way.

My second question, can someone tell me where the primed part is installed in the rear seat/cargo area. Putting the interior back together and I don't see this part in the service manual.

Sadly the new gaskets do that. I’m sure the manufacturing process has something to do with it. My 66 is the same way even after I had a professional install the glass.
Not sure on the part. I’m sure once someone says what it is…. I will remember.
