Can anybody tell me if the hinge pins that go in these hinges are being reproduced or if a good substitute is available

I would measure the diameter and compare it to the door pins. If they are the same you can use a pin and bushing kit for a Ford P/U.... These are usually on the shelf at O Reilly's and Zone in the Help section.
