[SOLD] 66 Commando Valve Covers

Up for sale is a set of 66 Commando Valve covers. They're in decent shape with original style of black wrinkle finish paint (unfortunately not the gorgeous powder coating that Leanna is famous for). What appears as "dents" on the sides are where the baffles are spot welded to the covers - found on every set of Commandos. $200 (or close reasonable offer) plus shipping from 22657.

There was a member who just bought a 66 Valiant Signet that needed those. Someone had started rat rodding a 19,000 mile original car. He was in Oregon. I havn't seen any recent posts. He saved the car just in time. Original 273 4spd car.

After cleaning my covers in the acid something happened!

I shot the right wrinkle paint right on the cover and I could not get the right finish. So I glass beaded them.

Round two started yesterday. New fresh paint from Plasticolor and ther esult looked like body paint for the rocker panel!!!!

So does anyone have a mint set of 65 covers that you can shoot with fresh paint and send them to me. Of cause with all expenses paid. The paint here in Sweden is absolutely worthless!

So the '65 Commandos have one PCV grommet opening and one stovepipe, right? I got in a nice pair of those a few days ago as a bill offset/trade.

They aren't mint -- YET. But they could be. :-D

Leanna - after doing all my 65 covers you should know that the 65s have 2 stovepipes lol. Sounds like you might have a pair of 67's.
