Be patient guys. They surface every once in a while here and on e-Bay. No one re-pops them and NOS ones go for hundreds $$$. I checked into having them re- popped but it takes $10,000 for the dies. Not an option for a one year part even though every 66 Dart owner on the planet would want a pair if the price was reasonable. tmm

If you have yours but they are beat up pretty bad , think about restoring them. I did mine and they came out pretty good. they were beat up bad but with time ,patience and a LOT of elbow grease they ended up pretty nice. No they are not perfect (yet) still need some final tweaking to make em really good. but they fit the car,not warped and shiny!

of course if you don't have them you can't do this. Then I'll say good luck with the hunt, as toolmanmike said they do pop up every once in a while.

Luckily I do have my 2 old bezels but the left one is in very poor condition. I plan on giving the rework a shot but will keep my eyes open for a nice used set just in case. If you do the rework, do you paint the black before they are anodized or do the anodizing first then paint. Does anyone know of an anodizing place near Harrisburg, Pa. If not where would I call or send them to?
Thanks
Rodney

I sent a few of mine off to Leanna to have them redone. She's getting into trim restoration. Yours turned out damn nice Dvert.

They can be redone but it takes a lot of patience and hard work. I do my own metal bumping and polishing but it's so time consuming I don't know how anybody makes any money without charging a fortune to do them.

Thanks toolmanmike they took a while.
I'm going to paint mine after I figure out how to anodize them(located some of the chemicals but it might be cheaper to have them done) I want that anodizing all over the bezel with no openings for weather to get in.

Normally most metal fab/resto shops DO charge a fortune due to the amount of work to bring them back to "As new",then I looked at some of their work, yea it was shiny and scratch free BUT they smoothed lines that needed to be in there since they are not familiar with the part.
I priced mine getting redone by a couple of "recommended reputable" restoration shops and went into sticker shock I got anywhere from 200 to 400 per side! I also went to the swap meet near me and asked the metal repair guy there, same or similar price. that's what made me work on mine. are mine perfect? nope but they look as good or better than the resto shops I have seen.
