66 dart inner door emblems How to attach?

On my 66 dart 270, the doors have been filled and painted. There is no "Dart 270" emblems on the doors. I found these, but I am not sure how they are supposed to attach. What kind of holes do I need to drill into my doors? Anyone have a picture? i have thoughts of perhaps dremeling the brackets off, making it flat, and just JB welding the entire emblem to the door??

there are 2 holes that those circles fit into and the clips hold them into place.
there also (might be depending on the year) should be a couple of smaller holes inboard of the larger ones to locate the emblem.

humm, I wonder if you could measure the size of that hole> Or is it just the same size as the round part of the emblem back? thanks for the pic. I am now thinking that my doors never had these emblems. No way the guy was able to fill that size hole. it looks solid to me.

I'm sure they were there at one time.They are also access holes to two bolts that hold the wing window frame in.
