I just removed the driveline from my '66 Barracuda so I can install my newly completed 8-3/4. I wanted to make sure I get the driveline installed the correct direction after having it shortened. It looks to me that both ends are identical. Also, there is a balancing weight on each end. So, my question is... Does it matter which direction the driveline is installed?
Thanks much,

Slide the front yoke all the way in, measure from center of front u joint to center of rear yoke. Subtract 1"; give this to driveshaft guy, he knows what to do.

If the driveshaft is the same diameter on both ends, you should be able to mount it either way. If it has section that necks down, put that toward the rear.
