Hello Folks.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to clean out the trough at the top of the firewall. The one below the vents just below the front window. At the moment i don't seem to be able to get anything in there to clean out the 40 years of dirt and grime that has baked itself in there.

Anyone done it before and want to share the secret? :)

Thanks.

My 66 Valiant has oval plastic plugs in the firewall under the hood that I used to clean it out

Hood open; at the sides are the drains, that get stopped up. Bent a clthes hanger; juke them while running hose, or air. Then keep them clean.

Awesome, thanks guys. I didn't think about popping those rubber toppers out, but the coat hanger (duh) sounds like it should do the trick with a little air from the compressor.
