Hey Guys.
Try not to laugh at this one.
I'm planning on taking out the hood hinges/bars so I can take the firewall down to bare metal and paint it this weekend. This is my first mopar and I'm not real sure on the science behind the hinge, it feels spring loaded, but I can't seem to figure it out for the life of me. Can I just remove the bolts that connect the hinge to the firewall and not risk loss of life or limb in the process?
Unfortunately, my computer-nerd day job requires most of my fingers in order to be able to perform my daily duties.
