Does the 67 A body glovebox door use 2 assist springs or 1 ?

If it uses 2, does anybody have a Left Hand hinge spring they can sell me? Mine is missing.

Thanks
Matt

Mine has 2 but I don't have a spare. I would think that several years would interchange?

yours is the first brand new question I've seen here in a long time. I cant answer from memory either. I know everything 68 up is different ( catch cords and latch on door, no spring(s) ). Later today I will know what is 67 correct and what I have on hand.

I have a spare set of 67 only hinges. Only the RH spring on that set too. The LH hinge has holes for a spring. So i tried the RH spring out of the spare set of hinges. No bueno. Apparantly the springs are RH and LH specific.

had the same question with my Aussie 67 ute...I was sure there were 2 springs when I took the lid off but every 64-67 I looked at had 1...maybe the same in the States as ours are basicly the same car!!

I haven't looked in my car yet. The 3 springs I have in parts are all the same. I'll assume they are all right hand.
