I'm swapping out my column shift in the 67 Cuda for a Hurst floor shift......

On my 904, there is a shifting "arm" that the final stage of the linkage hooks to....very simple to unhook everything and attach the new cable system....BUT, on a 67, what else do I need to do relative to proper working "back-up" lights, and/or neutral safety?

The neutral safety switch is on the 67 904 and shouldn't be an issue. The reverse lamp switch is on the steering column or on the floor shifter. Some after market floor shifters have reverse lamps switches included or optional add-on from the mfgr. The 2 wires at the factory switch would be extended to the floor shifter switch.
Another option would be to rob the part called rooster comb from a later model 904. It will operate the combination switch on the trans. You would simply extend the 2 factory wires through the firewall and down to the trans taped in with the neutral safety switch wire. Hope this helps
