just fyi-- an 892 torsion bar is a 340 bar .870 diameter-- used in many a bodies until 1976.

big block bars should have 894 & 895 #'s & be .890 in diameter. Lawrence

Both are technically correct and just a clarification.
I have two 67 BB a-bodies, one auto, one manual, build sheet says 892-(8 )93 bars. But my 67 273 Formula-s build sheet also says the same. They do list a bb 894-5 bar in 67 but the only HD bars listed in 67 parts manual for a-body were the 892-893 bars. Strange as that may sound. Hope this clears the air for any potential buyers.
