Anyone ever put an exhaust kit like the one below, (spec'ed for a 67 Cuda), in a 66? I did something like this in a B body and it worked fine. It will be behind a 5.9 Magnum with Sanderson DD-9 headers and a 727. Thought they may be similar enough to pull it off with minimal heat and beat.

Dunno, but if you meant 66 and 67 B body, they are pretty much identical to each other.

Yep, I was hoping the 2 A bodies might be close enough that I could use the 67 exhaust kit in the 66. With minor mods, of course. Just wondered if anyone had tried it before.

Why not just buy a 66’ dual kit. Either way you need to modify the trans mount. Plenty of info on here about that. Passenger side will be really tight near rear axle but can be done.
My 66’ has a tti system. Expensive side but makes it easier for install.

I have looked for a 66 dual kit, and haven't been able to find one. I would prefer to use the correct kit, just couldn't find it. I already modified the trans mount.
Wasn't looking to spend the money to get the TTI, was hoping there was something a little less expensive. (Surprise!) Can anyone point me in yhe right direction?
