Not sure what you are looking for, the 67 fastbacks had a rubber mat, the three pieces behind the seat should be available anywhere you can get carpet sets from.

This is an original textured trunk mat for a 67 Fastback.

This is interesting, I thought I was the weird one. My '68 cuda FB originally came with a trunk matt made from the black truck floor matt material, but standard size. I saved a piece of it. It is just like the trucks- ruff, cobbly, black. I have not found anyone using this material. Another detail- since my car has the optional 5.5 wheels the spare tire sticks up higher in the wheel well. To compensate, the factory glued extra thick insulation material to either underside of the matt to compensate for the bigger "bump" in the middle. Is this just me? I have never seen another. I assumed I was looking at a one-off, where the factory just used what they had on hand at the time.

Hey Cuda Al, my wife is from Lompoc. Is that picture you're showing us looking like the truck floor matt material that I was trying to describe?

Remember that the spare tire well was first designed for the 1960 Valiant and carried on forever. A 6.50 x 13 tire on a 4-1/2" rim fit just fine!
Al's car has been in his family since new. Maybe the earliest build cars started out as black and then chanfed into the more common gray.
As already stated, no carpet in the trunk but the cargo area got carpeted side walls with the Deluxe interior.

This is a topic that has me curios. My '68 cuda is a late model about June 1 st, from Hamatrack. Do you think I could get one custom made because the patterns and the material are available?

This is the backside showing the factory part number, I have only seen this in 67 Fastbacks (not saying a 68 couldn't have had one)

I did find some material that is close, the grain is a little finer.

My original is long gone, it didn't hold up to 20+ years of storage, I did keep a couple pieces for reference. I did make a pattern so I could make a new one.

Alan, thanks for the pics. I can now see that mine was not so unique. Will explore having a "correct" one made.

Thanks for the reference. Am trying to do a "correct" resto on this '68 cuda. So, after looking around I think I will buy a standard repo trunk matt to use as a pattern and then buy this material to cut out my own matt. This material, at 76" wide, should only need one yard. This will make me happy to be more correct as I have never seen anyone else do this. I have learned something today.

Have just ordered the black trunk material from Miami Corp. Will let you know how it goes.
I haven`t paid much attention to the posts on this, but in 1968 I bought a new 68 fastback , form S , 383 / 727 , no power anything . Ran like a bat out of hell. It had a regular checker weave rubber trunk mat from the factory. Never saw a black trunk mat in one, or any other mopar as far as that goes !

The only Mopar I have ever seen the textured rubber mat in was the 67 Fastbacks no idea why but as show it was a Mopar part marked with logo and part number.

Finally arrived-possible trunk matt material for cuda's. I ordered this stuff to try. No-one makes a '67-'68 cuda matt like this. Texture may not be exact but is very close if you want to make your own. Here's a couple of pics- see if you like.
