hi looking for a k frame for a 67 barracuda 273 car

Unless you are trying to keep it OE look for a 68-69 SB V8 K member, the 68-69 idler arm is stronger and cheaper

I agree, even if you find a 67 frame good chance the idler mounting will be wallered out and be useless. Locate a 68-72, 99.99% direct change over, just need the 68-72 idler.

I would add, unless you need this car to pass the scrutiny of a judge crawling under the car pass on the 67, IF you can find a 67 idler it will not be cheap.

There is a 50 to 75 dollar Idler Arm 67 idler arm on ebay and from PST and a 150 to 175 dollar one. Rare Parts Idler Arm 1967 Dodge Dart Plymouth Barracuda Valiant 20218 I purchased the cheaper one and dimentionally it is the same BUT.. the grease seal flat rubber washers were too thin to be usefull so i doubled up with the usable old ones to take up the space. The 150 to 175 is MUCH more robust looking.

You can add the brace for a 68-72 idler arm to your k-member. I cut them off off k-members and weld them on in the car if you need to do that. Easy to do.

I think he is trying to stay all 67, and I have a couple 67 K frames, one still in the car and a /6 one on the shelf.
