Hi!

My barracuda had aftermarket reverselights. I got a set of new housings and lenses and now im trying to figure out what kind of screws i need for fastening lense to housing and housing to body.

If someone knows that would be very nice I live outside of US so its little bit trickier to find any other than metric stuff.

Do you have the bulb holders? That screw onto the chrome

I'm guessing you want specs like #8x1.5 chrome phillips ,etc... I would need to take one off to provide all that.

There is a short one for 67 and a long one for 69

69 on left 67 on right

Your valance should have 3 holes per light location 2 horizontal and one a bit higher

The chrome bezels are handed, drivers side and pass side (green arrow) the part number will end in an odd number if it's drivers side and sn even number if it's pass side drivers side is left side when facing the front of the car.

There is also a seal that goes around the outside of the bezel to protect the paint.(Yellow arrow)

This one is drivers side

Next the glass lense gets out in place

Then the gasket

Then the bulb holder with a new bulb installed

Then the two #8-32 x 3/8" long screws. The OEM screws do not have a washer or a built in washer but it is a good idea.

As for the mounting screws to screw the assembly to the valance you will have to experiment.

I would start with a #8 or #10 sheet metal screw. Oval head phillips chrome or black depending on the bezel

About 0.75" long for 67 and 1.75"long for 69
This is based on me measuring the bezels I have and adding 1/4" (1" and 2" would work as well.)

Some times the mounting holes are enlarged and you might need a speed nut, but the distance from the inside of the opening to the screw holes is very small so look for ones that are short from the closed end to the hole

Thank you so much guys! Now i just need to get those screws. I dont have bulb holders but reverse lights are not working anyways, i have 5 speed tremec, maybe i'll go without bulb holders. Those seals i do have. This is going to be huge upgrade for my car, those aftermarket lights...

Where Do you Get the new light bulb socket with housing and pigtail??
I didnt't. Reverselights are not working anyways so i cut a ring from a sheet of metal there and drilled some hole in it to hold the lens in place. If theres new bulb housings available somewhere im interested.

I manufacturer the housings with an intrigrated bulb socket.

I have one set available right now BUT you will have to terminate the pigtail with a bullet connector (its a liability thing) PM me if you are interested
