67 Barracuda stripes

I'm thinking about painting my fastback F3 green here in the next year but I feel like the color needs some kind of dark contrast to go with it.

What were the original stripes that came on 67 Barracudas? I really like that black stripe that runs along the bottom of the fenders and rockers but that was only for 69's correct? I also like the mustang style double stripe that runs along the bottom of the doors but I'm not sure what years thats original to. Anyone know how the decals worked for these years?

here is a friends 67 that he bought new. I took these pictures for reference if I ever decide to put my car back to factory paint colors. My black car had them on it, it was Med turquoise with black center stripe as noted on the fender tag. The stripes were painted on and believe came in 6 option colors.

unless your doing a OE spec restoration just put the stripes you like on,thats what i did ,i always loved the 69 stripes but i got a 67 .its my car and i did it my way!!!:cheers:

Thanks guys, I'll probably end up pm'ing challengergary when the time comes.

Only thing that worries me about the decal is the part where it goes through the cowl opening. It looks like it would be a pretty difficult decal to make if you look at the picture Rocky posted.
