'67 Barracuda window question

The whole window, window channel, and the small triangular window vent slide down an inch when i try to put the window up all the way. The window channel that sits on the adjusting rod in the photo moves when the window is up all the way, and i know its not suppose to. How do I get that channel to stop moving on that adjusting rod? I hope this makes sense... The service manual is very confusing.

There is another bolt in the forward edge of the door. Hidden behind a body plug or end of door seal (I forget). It must be loose , broken, missing if that entire assembly moves.
