67 Bucket Seat Head Rest Add On

Does anyone have photos of how this kit is supposed to mount to a 66-67 A Body 67 B Body seat frame? (NOTE 68 Up, the frame is very different) I looked here on FABO but found nothing conclusive

Based on the part count this is the way it seems to go on the seat. BUT I feel like there is a missing support or something.

The top rail is not very wide and it seems that if a hole was drilled through it most of its strength would be lost!

The frames on 67 bucket seats were different when they had head rest. I just went through this on Todds seats. We tried to take the headrests off of seats in his coupe and puit them on his fast back seats . You need to have the frames for the headrests for 67 seats.

There , you will see a video of seat cover installs for a 67 GTX with headrest structure.

67 seats have the same structure in GTX as the Barracuda that year.

At 2:48 in the video there is a clear shot of the inner structure for the headrest.

No head rests for me! I had seen seat frames that looked like that but assumed they were 68 up.

Oh Well!
