Thanks is advance for everyone's help. I'm working on a 67 Cuda convertible project with a 383 transplant using the Control Freak K member and front suspension. I need advice on which intake will preserve adequate hood clearance. I don't have a stock 4 bbl intake, the engine was originally a 2 bbl out of a 69 Belvedere wagon that will be stroked to 496 ci using the 440 Source kit. I'm leaning toward a Holley Street Dominator or Edelbrock Performer. This will be a street car, not a race car, and modifying the hood is not an option for me. Has anyone had experience with a similar setup?

An RB six pack and air cleaner has no problem under my '69 stock hood if that helps.

We ran an old TM-6 (I think) Edelbrock high rise single plane on a 383 with the Edelbrock carb and non-drop air cleaner. Everything fit fine, but this was on a DC K-member (home built) with stock manifolds.
