Here's some pics of the work i'm doing on the fender repair
the inner brace was missing about 4" from the rust so i got a doner
piece was not much better but was repairable

so I cut some pieces out of what was left of the original one
and fabbed 2 pieces and welded them all in

here's the pic of the piece repaired and sand blasted and ready
to paint and weld back in. I'll add more pics of the progress of
welding it in when I get it done

Just caught up with your pictures of the hood. Love that scoop on the 2nd gen fish! Going to look bad *** no matter what engine is under it. Just in your case is also going to have a bad *** engine in it as well!

Well thanks for the all great compliments, I really haven't done much more
other than some more work on the passenger side fender. Been working around the house to get a few things done before winter and missed my goal of paint.
So I think I will prime and block sand over the winter and paint this next summer, that's my new goal. I don't really have any updates as of now but will

What final color are you planning?

Well heck let me think a while. I thought I would like ivy green on it which would probably look good,and then I thought V2 would be cool. But in the end it will probably be red just plain ol rally red.
