67 Tail stripe location

Ive searched a lil on here and cant find any info on the location of the where the tail stripe goes on a 67 Dart GT? I bought one and had it installed by a local shop figured they would know where to put it but they put it way far forward and it bugs the heck out of me. Hoping someone here can shed some light on it for me.

yea that looks like crap.

i don't think a 67 ever came with a bumble bee stripe like that. and the stripe you have looks to be a 69 stripe. so if you insist on keeping a 69 stripe on a 67 then get someone with a 69 measure where theirs is.
 
it should be centered on the side reflector. so just get a measurement of a 69 dart side reflector and go from there..

just a heads up,the fratzog in your roof looks to be on wrong too.

Oh it does not surprise me one bit, im finding more and more things that are not right with the car as the days go on. I know that the 67 didn't have that stripe but I happen to think that the tail stripes are the bees-knees on these cars. I at least want it to look correct.
