68 340 color??

hey everyone im restoring a 68 dart and i have a 340 for it, what was the right color for 68 i see alot red and also alot of them blue what is the correct color?

1968 is Red. Blue wasn't used until 1971 or 1972.

Oh yeah. LOL!!!! I should have known. I have pics of a 69 GTS survivor w a blue 340. Blue must be the least common color of 69 340s. I have 2 that are turquoise.
