I want to dump the dopey 67 lockstrip rear window gasket on my 67 notch and replace it with 68-69 stainless.
1) will this work?? does it fit?
2) does anybody repop this trim?
3) anybody got some to sell??
4) I fi cant find any , does anybody repop the stainless corners for the 67 lockstrip setup?
thanks

Yes it works and is a fairly common modification to replace the front and rear gaskets with 68-69 stuff and use the stainless trim.

Besides hunting down the trim (it's not repopped that I am aware of) you will need to install the mounting clips in the channel, these are availble from a number of sources like R/T Specialties. Also, I don't think the notchback rear window gasket is being made either.

I thought I saw the 67 corners being advertised but I am not sure if they will fit the notchback or just the fastback.

Stevens Performance has all the 67 correct stuff. Latest complete set of notchback stainless on brought 535.00 on ebay OUCH !
Gaskets are different too so to upgrade front and rear to the 68,9 type gets extremely expensive.
Repop gaskets but no repop stainless to be found.
Friendly word of caution... dont buy an incomplete set. It took me 12 years to complete a partial set.
